It's been a very long time since I've posted anything on this blog.
I seriously doubt I will be posting anything here from now on.
VOX is a bit annoying in the way they rename all images and their loading times are pretty much ridiculous.
You can feel free to add me, but it doesn't mean I'm going to add you back. I rarely even check VOX anymore since mostly it's just repeats over and over or scans I don't have time to download and rename.
Nothing on here has ever been locked, so it's not really like you're missing out on anything by me not adding you back.
I'm primarily on LJ, but that is under a pretty strict friends lock and I don't think I'll be changing that policy any time soon.
Uhh. I guess that's it?
Sorry VOX, you were disappointing.

will get you burned.
I know that people who visit my vox were the ones who accused me of stealing scans. I'd like to show you something.
This is the scan I was accused of stealing. The size of it I have (from when i downloaded the zip file way bay when): approx 4500 x 3000

So now two people think I stole their scans? And one of them, who I've never heard of before 10 minutes ago deletes her account right after coming into my post and confusing the fuck out of me?
Apparently 20 people messaged her saying that my scans were her's cropped, resized and reposted.
Yea. right. I'm going to waste MY precious spare time to resize other people's scans? I don't think so. Sorry. I have you know. A life. I scan for mostly my own use, in graphics and such, and because I'm kind of a HQ whore. And why is it, in all the time I've been scanning, just NOW am I getting accused of stealing.
I'd like to know who these 20 people were. Because they'd have to be in my neighborhood to have even noticed I was scanning it. So fess up, tell me WHY you think I stole scans.
And why can't people use that nifty little MESSAGE button instead of dragging it into comments. You don't want to start drama? MESSAGE ME. Don't make it public straight off the bat.
ARG.
Just.
I'm still mulling over a massive f-cut on here and locking down my scans if there is going to be more bullshit like this.
What's next, people going to accuse me of stealing their video rips too?
I don't have time to sit up and deal with this, but now I'm going to lay in bed and just be upset over this all when I have to be to work in 8 hours. You know, that thing I have to do to make a living? My career? Which is much more important that stupid fucking drama.

For once, I start NOT watermarking my scans because it's a hassle and adds a completely extra step in the scanning process and I find them cropped out anyway, so I gave up on it. I just don't care anymore, as long as I don't find MY scans with other people's watermarks on them. But now? I get accused of stealing scans? EXCUSE ME?
No. Just. No.
One of the entire reasons for me WANTING this photobook so badly was the lack of truly hq scans of it. And now, I get it, and start scanning it, and I get accused of stealing?
I'm...well, beyond livid at the moment.
We'll see if anything further is left open.

Finished the first part of the AAA photobook. Scans are at 600dpi, 1500px on the longest edge. No watermark, but if I see these elsewhere with YOUR name on them, I'll be pissed. And I'll know.

My next project is actua lly the 2007-12-11 Josei Jishin. XD It came today and I just couldn't wait to scan it. I do have a bit of AAA done, but I'd at least like to get through Jet Storm Taipei before I start posting it.
All scans are at 600 dpi with the tallest edge 1500 px (any bigger and the quality is decreased exponentially). No watermarks, as I've come to the conclusion if people are going to steal, they're going to steal regardless of watermark or no. But, I know my scans, I know my settings, and I will know if these show up somewhere with someone else's name on them.

ARASHI AROUND ASIA PHOTOBOOK! :D
A friend sent it to me for Christmas, and as soon as I get my scanner software reinstalled (had to reformat the computer a week ago >_< Never fun.) and a bit of a break from work (I'm starting my new job on Monday as an office manager for a PT Office) I will be scanning this HQ.

These were scanned by me a while ago, but since they seemed to get the worst of the lighting effect from my old scanner, I figured it would be good to rescan them. So here! 600 dpi, 2000 pix on the tall edge. :D
